Night Ride
This was inspired by the train journey back from the Turner Contemporary gallery at night on October 23rd when I attended the opening of the exhibition OPEN in which I have a large painting (details under NEWS section). I was looking out of a slightly smudged window onto abstract dark forms and flashes of bright lights.
I also wanted to experiment with different ways to apply paint - liquid, transparent against opaque, thick on thin, smudged, etc.
