Residencies

I was selected as one of 15 artists internationally, for a Mark Rothko painting residency, at Daugavpils, Latvia (the birthplace of Mark Rothko), in September 2012. The residency was fully funded, and culminated in an exhibition and catalogue. The four paintings I made during the residency are now in the permanent collection at the new Mark Rothko Centre in Daugavpils, along with work by other residents and original Mark Rothko paintings.

Fellowships

Selected for a 'Schoolhouse at Mutianyu Great Wall Fellowship' (China), for the month of August, 2016. Funded by my hosts and culminating in a solo exhibition of paintings made during the Fellowship.

Art Saves Humanity, a global online exhibition selected by Sothebys team and art curators including Jerry Saltz. My work is displayed in the Top 100 artworks from around the world on the Art Saves Humanity website. This is an exhibition which reflects on the pandemic and opened on May 21st with live events online, and discussions. I had 2 large paintings selected which addressed the theme - one can be viewed in my News section. There is a link to the website in my Links section.
