'Women in the Rest Area of the Baths.'Oil on canvas
In this, I wanted to give a sense of the setting, with its arches and domed ceiling, and peeling layers of paint. There were patterned cushions, the floor was painted blue, and there were patterns painted under the partitioned beds. This was painted from an oil pastel made in situ.
