I was thrilled to find out yesterday that my largest painting, made during my residency last year, is on display in an exhibition at the Mark Rothko Centre, Daugavpils, Latvia. I made four paintings during my residency a year ago, and this, 'Flying into Riga Airport,' was the largest, at 140 by 100cm. I am also thrilled to see that it has a wall to itself, and the lighting is wonderful! My paintings are now part of the collection and will be part of touring shows, as well as being on display in the Centre. In July, my large painting went to Vitebsk, Belarus, to represent the Centre, along with work by other artists.
