She Awoke to hear the Sound of the Waterfall
She Awoke to hear the Sound of the Waterfall

I wanted to explore the idea of time as represented by drips caught in motion, suggesting a waterfall.
Waterfalls are, for me, a metaphor for the passage of time and life, the transience of things.
I also liked the way that colours could have their own identities within the painting as touches of colour, all contributing to an idea of liquid falling downwards.
